Guided Imagery is a traditional mind-body exercise. It is a tool to help guide one’s concentration and direction inward to the self and to the body. It is a powerful tool in psychotherapy to help the client go deeper and access wisdom and knowledge within the subconscious mind and bring it into the conscious to explore and gain information about an issue being worked on in therapy. It can also be used as a stress reduction and relaxation tool.
