Susan is a Naturopathic Doctor and Clinic director at KIH clinic. Her vision is to promote the health of her patients through a natural and comprehensive approach that recognizes each person as an individual. She specializes in and offers guidance on many natural forms of treatment related to a wide variety of conditions.
In addition to maintaining her naturopathic practice in Kleinburg ON and working as part-time faculty at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Slipacoff has a special interest in family medicine, women’s health, pain management and cosmetic medicine. To advance these skills she received additional training and certification through the Naturopathic Academy of Therapeutic Injection, McMaster's Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program and has travelled to Munich, Germany to learn from world-renowned sports specialist, Dr. Muller Wohlfahrt.
Prior to graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2005, Susan's undergraduate studies were in kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario. Currently, Dr. Slipacoff is licensed through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy and a professional member of the Canadian and Ontario Associations of Naturopathic Doctors as well as the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors.

Dr. Carol Cancelliere BSc (Hons), DC, MPH
Dr. Cancelliere graduated from the University of Toronto in 2000 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree. She graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2004 with clinic honours and various awards in the areas of scientific research and leadership. She also completed a Masters degree in Public Health in 2011.
Dr. Cancelliere has practiced in Saskatoon, Vancouver and Toronto, and she has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Chiropractic Association. She is also a Research Associate at the Toronto Western Hospital, University Health Network, Division of Health Care and Outcomes Research.
Dr. Cancelliere is experienced in working with all different types of people including athletes, children, the elderly and women during and after pregnancy. Her prime directive is to efficiently and effectively provide excellent patient care utilizing up-to-date evidence-based approaches and collaborating with the medical community and other health professionals, in order to return patients to their desired lifestyles. She utilizes different techniques and rehabilitative protocols to suit the needs and comfort level of each patient. She ultimately believes in educating patients to keep themselves strong and healthy, taking responsibility for their own health.

Dr. Stefan Bulfon DC, BSc (Kin), CSCS
Dr. Bulfon holds a four year doctorate degree in chiropractic medicine from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Prior to these studies he completed a four year Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario and is an alumnus of St. Michael's College high school.
Stefan also holds a certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). For over 10 years he has worked extensively training a broad spectrum of clients ranging from athletes playing in the National Hockey League to university level to your everyday sedentary individual.
Understanding that new information regarding health care is being discovered daily, Dr. Bulfon strongly believes that continuously improving one's education is the key to providing the most effective care for his patients. Be it by reading the latest scientific journal articles, attending different conferences or simply taking additional courses he understands that staying current is a necessity for proper patient care.
His background has provided him with the skill set to approach and administer effective treatment for varying conditions including minor musculoskeletal complaints such as sprains and strains, to headaches to more serious issues including major low back pain, postural dysfunctions and sports injuries. He strongly believes in assessing and diagnosing each condition through both standard orthopaedic and functional testing in order to determine the true root of problem and not simply treat the symptoms. His approach to treatment encompasses a combination of education, soft tissue treatment, joint mobilization/manipulation, and active rehabilitation wherein each treatment is specific to the underlying condition.

Carla graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Centennial College in 2002. She has extensive experience treating a diverse variety of clients and conditions including pregnancy massage, sports injuries, relaxation, repetitive strain, motor vehicle accident injuries, TMJ (jaw pain) and fibromyalgia. She also holds certificates in rotator cuff release & scapular stretch treating overuse injuries specific to shoulder, neck and rotator cuff areas. Carla is a certified Spiritual Psychotherapist. Spiritual Psychotherapy takes a holistic approach in recognizing that we are both human and spiritual beings. Rachel Hynd, CNP, ROHP
Rachel is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist at Kleinburg Integrative Health (KIH). She holds a first class honors diploma from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition where she became a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) and a Registered Orthomolecular Holistic Practitioner (ROHP). Rachel is a member of the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC). Her education in Psychology and Human Sciences at Ryerson University and the University of Toronto complements her understanding of whole health. In addition, she is also a certified Raw Food Instructor providing her with extensive education in the field of enzymatically live food.
Rachel is living her passion of teaching and leading people to optimal health. Dr. Jilan Koch, BSc (Honours), ND
A graduate of The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Jilan embraced her role as clinic representative for her class with the goal of helping to implement standards of practice. She currently embodies the same level of dedication with her patients, committed to teaching naturopathic medicine as a healthy lifestyle and to professionally ensuring optimal communication so the patient may be empowered and able to partake in his /her healthcare decisions. She prides herself on her excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
Jilan Koch’s practice is in family medicine, however her additional training allows her to focus on oncology, pediatrics and fertility. She believes in holistic health care and welcomes the opportunity to work with an integrative team of medical experts. Her practice includes clinical nutrition and neutraceuticals, botanical medicine, homeopathy, Traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture and injection therapy.
Keeping in mind her appreciation for work life balance, her other interests include running, yoga, and spending quality time with her two young children.

Dr. Brad J. Reimann
C. Psych
Dr. Reimann will be joining the clinic in July, 2011 to offer clinical psychology services. Dr. Reimann currently works at St. Joseph's Health Care London conducting comprehensive assessments and interventions for those with mental illness. He implements cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis and comorbid conditions, leads training initiatives for both staff and graduate students and heads a cognitive remediation research program. He has also conducted similar work at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton and completed his pre-doctoral internship at Riverview Hospital/Forensic Psychiatric Hospital in BC.
Dr. Reimann has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, substance use, and severe mental illness and is very excited to offer his services at the KIH clinic starting this July.
Dr. Reimann will be available to see clients starting in July on Mondays and Fridays.

Osteopathic Manual Therapy Apprentice
Jacob Simonini A-EMCA, ACP
Jacob Simonini is a first year apprentice in osteopathic manual therapy. He is currently studying a 4+1 year program in the Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) program at the CAO-HHS. Jacob’s foundation of patient treatment is on an individual basis that involves the whole body as a comprehensive unit. Jacob’s practice promotes the value of patient care and patient progress through the manual application of osteopathic manipulative science while integrating modern techniques and theory into his clinical practice thus benefiting the overall health of his patients. In keeping with professionalism, continual education and consistent research in the osteopathic field, Jacob hopes to advance the practice of osteopathy and strive to minimize patients discomfort and suffering and as a result provide a better quality of life for each individual he has the opportunity to treat and learn from.
In addition to studying in the Masters in Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences program, Jacob is also a full time Advanced Care Paramedic. Jacob has become a leading paramedic in his knowledge and practice of the profession and through his expertise has also been an instructor for upcoming advanced care paramedics. Through his work as a paramedic, Jacob realized his passion for the human body and wanted to study it further. In doing so, Jacob took the opportunity of working alongside a team of physicians involved in prehospital research called R.O.C (Resuscitation Outcome Consortium). Searching for a new challenge and more in depth understanding of the human body and how it functions, Jacob has now immersed himself in the study and practice of osteopathy. During his time as a student and apprentice Jacob plans to study abroad and gain expertise from the most influential practitioners in osteopathy. To advance his understanding of osteopathy as well as the practice he applies to his patients, Jacob also plans to involve himself in the research of osteopathy in hopes to perfect treatments and overall patient care.
Jacob strongly believes in dedication, hard work and taking every learning opportunity possible. Whether the learning comes from the classroom, or in practical application, Jacob strives to excel in his osteopathic manual therapy apprenticeship and his ability to help and heal the patients he is privileged enough to treat and learn from.
In Jacob’s spare time, he enjoys a life in the country on a horse farm with his wife and family. He enjoys an active lifestyle of hiking, traveling and even riding horses from time to time!
